The Cabrini Monash Department of Surgery is pleased to announce the inauguration of the ‘Adrian Polglase Visiting Professorship’.
This program will involve the annual visit to Cabrini of a notable overseas clinician in colorectal surgery or research, invited on the basis of merit.
In 2012 the inaugural visiting professor was Professor Bruce Wolff, Chief of Colorectal Surgery at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. This fellowship is an important step towards the internationalisation of the Cabrini Monash University Department of Surgery and has been named in honour of the long standing contribution of our foundation chairman, Emeritus Professor Adrian Polglase.
We extend our congratulatations to Professor Polglase on this honour.
