The Beaumaris Football Club last week hosted a highly successful fundraising corporate lunch to support LBBC.

On Thursday April 28 the Beaumaris Football Club hosted a corporate fundraising lunch at the Lobster Cave restaurant with proceeds of over $2K supporting Let's Beat Bowel Cancer.

Associate Professor Paul McMurrick gave a brief and insightful talk about bowel cancer including screening and prevention options, the latest avenues of promising research and public awareness programs.

Guest speakers for this well attended event included master of ceremonies Kevin Bartlett, with entertaining football alumni Keven Sheedy, Rex Hunt and Sam Newman.

A big thanks to the Beaumaris footy club for their generous support of Let's Beat Bowel Cancer, and in particular Vice President Richard Evans (who handed over a generous cheque donation) and operations manager Peter Caswell.
