The 2014 AL Polglase Visiting Professor in Colorectal Surgery will be Dr George Chang. Dr Chang is Chief, Colon and Rectal Surgery MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Dr Chang will visit Cabrini between November 15 and 18 of this year. During his visit he will deliver talks to colorectal (bowel) surgeons on current issues of importance in the surgical treatment of colorectal cancer. He will also hold educational sessions with our Cabrini surgical trainees.

The AL Polglase Visiting Professorship is an educational initiative supported by Let’s Beat Bowel Cancer that allows Cabrini’s colorectal surgeons to have world leading experts visit to share information and help ensure that Cabrini’s physicians stay at the forefront of the surgical management of colorectal cancer.
