Recently the Dromana Football Netball Club, members, supporters and the local community came together to help raise vital funds for the bowel cancer research and awareness programs of Let’s Beat Bowel Cancer.

The Dromana ‘Tigers’ Football Club has been touched by bowel cancer.  Most recently when 2013 Dromana Premiership captain Adam Hunter was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 28 soon after winning that flag.  Adam has had some hard and tough battles on the football field and the next challenge he faces in life is no different.

On a cold and wintery day, the Tigers were the eventual victors of a nail-biting 1 point win over Hastings with hundreds of spectators braving the elements to show their support.

The game was followed by a raffle and fundraising auction of the one-off heritage jumpers worn for the match. A huge congratulations and thank you to the Dromana Football Club for their fantastic efforts in raising $8,000 for Let's Beat Bowel Cancer!
