Researchers from Cabrini and Monash University are using cutting-edge techniques to grow a patient's three-dimensional tumour outside the body.

A/Prof Helen Abud and her team at the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute were featured prominently this week for their groundbreaking work with colorectal organoids, or what's been termed 'mini-guts' research.
